Beginner-Friendly Brazilian Jiujitsu in Exmouth

Start Jiujitsu With Confidence

Mahara Jiujitsu is a welcoming Brazilian Jiujitsu academy in Exmouth for complete beginners, experienced grapplers, adults and children. Build fitness, confidence and practical skills through structured Gi, No-Gi and Judo classes.

Starting is simple: your first class is free and you can train in a T-shirt and joggers, we have spare kit available. After that, pay £8 per adult class (£7 for children), or choose unlimited adult training for £60 a month. No joining fee and no expensive kit required.

With 9 adult sessions, 3 youth sessions and a parent-and-kids class every week, it’s easy to find a session that fits your routine.

New to Jiujitsu? You’re in the right place. Our structured beginner pathway teaches the fundamentals step by step in a friendly, supportive environment. Most members begin with no martial arts experience. Based in central Exmouth, we welcome students from across East Devon and Exeter.
